My thoughts

As i am not a firefighter yet, reading this article has made me assure myself of the choice ive made about becoming a firefighter.  After reading this article i find myself following the right path as i relate to the traits Lasky explained. I love to help people and soon hope to apply myslef to becoming a firefighter here in Alaska. I believe i have what it takes. I grew up with strong morale values. Just by reading this Lasky has given me more motivation to pursue a career in firefighting. Lasky does a good job about explaining the love for the job, his motivation and passion. He explains that just because you say you have integrity doesnt mean you can show for it. It takes a special person who will lay down themself for whats right. Lasky talks about what kind of firefighter do you want to be. He explains that you shoud make a name for yourself. It all starts on the first day. He also explains dont get too ahead of yourself. Dont get comfortable becuse bad things are bound to happen. Lasky sets good points and  motivation for future firefighters.
